This story sounds similar to my mothers. She moved from Adelaide to Ceduna South Australia for work when she was just sixteen. After a while she met my dad, a local farmers son. They were married on 28th day of December and the next day Dad went reaping. No honeymoon. Mum had just turned 18. My parents have been married for sixty years this year and are still very happy together. They have just bought some land in Wilmington,in the Flinder's Ranges, and their twilight years will be spent there doing what they love. My mum would never go back to the city, she loves the country life. My dad is 80 and mum 77. Dad has a new lease on life. He is building a shed by himself at the moment. He has new dreams. I hope I am as willing and able at that age, something to aspire to achieve :)

I loved reading this post Alexa.
