Sometimes I have a sneaky method where I hide the play sheets if I’m quick enough. That way the size of tents are diminished. At times they will be in plain sight with the boys unknowingly playing all around

This is why my sheets and covers of any sort used to be such a mess. But there was loads of fun had in the making. We used to use the loungeroom furniture. For a little something different for the olympics in sydney, we set up the real tent in the backyard. The only things we used in the house were the toilet, and the fridge in the kitchen. We bbq’d and ate out on the outdoor furniture for a dinner out, and at the foldup table and chairs in front of the tent for picnics. We had so much fun – and the traffic was no problem at all

Thanks Lis. This sort of children’s play is easy to tidy up….setting up is more complicated as they always want it bigger. Tis fun though as they imagine so many things once they play
