I read recently a thought-provoking comment on a forum. It was written from the heart (thank you C), on Contentment. It so moved me that I decided to focus on the actual word itself.

So let us BE content and in so doing be thankful.

May your week go well…whether you are at the end of your working life or still on the journey. Retired or first job. At home with family or travelling life alone. Find beauty in the ordinary.

  1. I like “contentment”. People say “Are you happy?” I often say “I’m content” and they look at me like “uhoh, you’re not happy”. There is nothing wrong with contentment. Contentment feels zen-like. Peaceful. Calm. I hope you’re having a great week too, and thanks for sharing this word today. -Aroha (for #teamIBOT)

    • Hi Sarah, thanks for your comments and visiting my blog. I’ve just been reading your blog and blogging journey along with a busy little family. You are doing a great job. 7. I think contentment is the key to a happy life. There is so much we have no control over, but we do have control over our thoughts and attitudes, and containment is the best choice we can make.
Easier said than done sometimes though :)
